STATE FARM INSURANCE DEFIES LOGIC & ETHICS IN VEHICLE TITLE ERRORS THOUSANDS OF AUTO OWNERS FACE LOSS FROM STATE FARM

SWINDLE OR MISTAKE: EITHER WAY STATE FARM OWES OWNERS

The Short Story

In October 2005 Liblang & Associates discovered a website posting by Michigan Atty General at

http://www.michigan.gov/documents/Michigan_VIN-Yr-Model-Make_Spreadsheet_139152_7.pdf

revealing that State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company had failed to properly retitle no less than 3,250 salvage (perhaps even scrap) vehicles after repair and prior to resale. Further investigation by the law firm revealed that several other state attorneys’ were in fact also investigating the insurer and identified that State Farm had been previously indicted, found guilty and required to make full (not partial) purchase price restitution to vehicle owners in Indiana by means of a consent judgment.

Essentially, the prevailing and operative Michigan laws such as the Motor Vehicle Code, Uniform Commercial Code, Consumer Protection Act, Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Act, Motor Vehicle Finance Act and the federal law called the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act generally provide for restitution, recovery of costs and attorney fees if we win your case.

In less than one week dozens of Michigan vehicle owners (with hundreds more anticipated) have chosen Liblang & Associates to represent their interests in reaching a just and equitable settlement with State Farm and/or involved resellers and dealers.

OWNERS OF THESE VEHICLES MAY BE FACING NUMEROUS JEOPARDIES

·         Vehicle re-titled as “salvage” or “scrap.”

·         Catastrophic reduction in vehicle valuation & resale value.

·         Serious unknown mechanical defects & safety risks.

·         Potential loss of your ability to acquire “full coverage” insurance.

·         Likelihood of an “upside down” equity position.

·         Possible finance company acceleration “full payment” demand or repossession.

·         Unfair & inadequate settlement offer from State Farm Insurance.
